There are many exciting and unique events coming up both in our classroom and at the school this month. Here is a list of these events:
Spanish I events:
Sept. 15- Special lesson to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month: in-class viewing of the 1997 movie Selena.
Sept. 21: Special guest speaker: Hispanic Studies Professor Juan Lopez at local CD University on how the Spanish language and Hispanic culture have impacted the United States in recent years through art, music, film & TV, food, science, technology, etc.
School-wide events:
Sept. 22: Picture day.
Sept. 30: Pep rally and homecoming game
